‍Protecting Messalonskee Lake and its Watershed

‍Friends of Messalonskee Summer Giveaway Raffle

H‍i Visitor,

‍First and foremost, thank you for joining our Friends of Messalonskee Summer Giveaway Raffle. Because of your support, we’re already one step closer to protecting our beloved lake by clearing out the persistent milfoil growth, but we are not done yet!

‍Picture looking into our once-crystal waters only to see thick mats of milfoil carpeting the lakebed, siphoning sunlight and nutrients from native plants, while the tangled strands drift into motors and docks.

This invasive weed can transform clear coves into murky green expanses, dragging down waterfront values, and depriving families of the sparkling lake experience we treasure.

Even more powerful: Every raffle ticket sold funds the highly efficient removal of milfoil—meaning your support has a direct, measurable impact on restoring our shoreline’s beauty!

Click below to purchase tickets. Debit Card needed. Paper tickets by appointment: email us at friendsofmessalonskee@gmail.com

‍But Hurry—New Deadline Approaching!

The raffle closes at noon on August 26. With just a few weeks left, every ticket you purchase brings us one step closer to greatly reducing milfoil in Messalonskee Lake—and one step closer to calling your name as our $5,000 grand-prize winner.

Thank you for standing with us in this battle against milfoil. Let’s finish strong!

Thank you for your support and good luck,

The Friends of Messalonskee Team
