‍Protecting Messalonskee Lake and its Watershed

‍

‍THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR MESSALONSKEE LAKE

Have you bought your ticket yet?

Whether you’ve already entered the Friends of Messalonskee Lake Summer Giveaway Raffle or you’re just hearing about it for the first time, now is the time to get involved.

And this isn’t just about winning $5,000 and other fabulous prizes. (although it is pretty nice to think you could win $5,000, isn’t it?)

It’s about helping to protect a beautiful natural resource, the lake we love.

If milfoil continues to spread throughout Messalonskee Lake, it will create thick, tangled mats that crowd out native plants, interfere with boats and docks, and threaten the clear, beautiful waters that make this lake so special.

But here’s the exciting part:

Your raffle ticket directly helps fund milfoil removal. Every ticket sold helps put effective machine removal to work on the lake.

So when you buy a ticket, you’re not just entering a raffle.

You’re investing in Messalonskee Lake.
You’re helping protect its beauty.
You’re helping preserve a natural resource available for all to enjoy.
And you have a chance to win $5,000 while doing it.

The raffle closes at NOON on August 26, 2026.

That deadline is coming quickly. Don’t wait until the last day to wish you had entered.
